Investures ("https://investures.com") is a collection of prototype web applications built and operated by James Fong. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

These apps are prototypes. Do not store sensitive personal or financial information you would not want to lose or be seen by others.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you use our apps:

• Account information: Email address, name, and profile photo via Google OAuth (handled by Supabase Auth).
• User-generated content: Journal entries, photos, home profile data, bill splits, startup ideas, study materials, and any other content you create within the apps.
• Usage data: Pages visited, actions taken within the apps, and general interaction data collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and provide the features of each app.
• To associate your content with your account so it persists between sessions.
• To improve the apps based on how they are used.
• To contact you if necessary regarding your account or the service.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Data Storage and Third-Party Services

Your data is stored and processed using the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database, file storage, and authentication. Data is hosted on AWS (US East region).
• Vercel — web hosting and serverless functions.
• Google OAuth — sign-in only. We do not access your Google account data beyond your name, email, and profile photo.
• OpenAI / Anthropic — certain apps (e.g. Study Buddy 2.0) send content you provide to AI APIs for processing. Do not submit confidential information to these features.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. Because these are prototype applications, we reserve the right to delete data at any time without notice. You should not rely on this service for permanent storage of important information.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use session cookies required for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Basic analytics may be collected by our hosting providers (Vercel) as part of their standard infrastructure.

6. Children's Privacy

Some apps on this site (such as High School Prep) may be used by minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

You may at any time:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Update your account information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
